CHILLAX RESORT, Bangkok – A Smart Stay in the City

My experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were not up to standard, quite disappointing overall. The noise levels were high, coming from other rooms, the street, and the air conditioner. Our honeymoon stay in mid-April 2019 was marred by outdated rooms, a moldy bathroom, and old furniture, including curtains with holes.

The hotel offers exceptional quality rooms with lovely modern decor and an amazing bathroom, perfect for 3 persons. However, the layout may be a little odd with a window looking into the shower from the bed, which some may find uncomfortable.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean, though a bit tired and in need of some fresh paint. The service was welcoming and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The location was ok, just 10 minutes from the Khao San Road, which was convenient for exploring the area. The dining experience was worth the money, with a relatively cheap price for a good selection of food. The facilities were satisfactory for my needs during the stay.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet part of town, about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and other attractions. The rooms are decent but could benefit from a more powerful shower. The service is friendly but lacks the usual warm welcome you'd expect in Thailand. The dining options are varied, but some items could be improved. Overall, it's a good value for money choice for a stay in the area.

My stay at this hotel was quite interesting. The rooms were really nice, with good aircon and facilities and some extra nice touches. They are very charming and well-decorated. The service, though, wasn't incredibly attentive, with some Thai people that try to trick you for money and a tuk-tuk driver that does the same. The location was great if you wanted to spend time on Khao San Road. The dining experience was not good at all; however, the facilities offered were top-notch.
